Pollinator Week 2019

Pollinator Program at the Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center
Saturday, June 22  at 11:00 a.m. 

This special Pequest program will focus on pollinators and their importance in the ecoysystem - as well as the perils they face. Endangered and Nongame Species Program biologist Rob Somes will conduct the program and highlight pollinator conservation on state lands and provide some butterfly gardening information. Attendees will see examples of "bee huts" for non-stinging bees they can make or obtain online. Registration required - call 908-637-4125 x0.
NOTE: The facility is closed weekends and only program registrants will be admitted.
This program is sponsored by the Mansfield Twp. Environmental Commission and funded with an open space stewardship grant from the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions.
