PART-TIME TAX COLLECTOR
Liberty Township, Warren County is seeking a part-time
Certified Tax Collector to perform all statutory duties of the Tax Collector
for 1,500-line items with a current collection rate of 97% .
Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of municipal tax collection laws, practices
and procedures required, including tax sale procedure, lien redemption, monthly
reports, quarterly delinquent notices, appeals, replying to tax related OPRA
requests and preparing resolutions. Knowledge
of First Byte is required.
Excellent communication and customer service skills are
essential.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. The work week is flexible.
