An aerial pesticide application for mosquito control is planned.  A granular substance (resembling kitty litter) will be applied to standing water, by aircraft, for the control of immature mosquitoes by the Warren County Mosquito Commission.

Land Use Board - Notice of Public Hearing

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Liberty Township Land Use Board

 

The regularly scheduled Land Use Board meeting on Wednesday, August 19^th at 7:30 pm will hold a public hearing to review the application of John Bibbo who is seeking consent to build a shed at 6 Hanzel Woods Drive, Great Meadows.

All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard with respect to this application.

Copies of the application are on file with the Municipal Clerk of Liberty Township and can be reviewed by appointment, by calling 908-637-4579 at the municipal building, Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.

JCP&L Transmission Line Inspections - Low Flying Helicopter Patrol

Please be advised that Chesapeake Bay Helicopters (CBH)  will be the helicopter company assisting in the inspections on all JCP&L Transmission Lines, beginning August 3rd , 2020 through August  17^th, 2020 weather permitting.

The pilot will be in communication with any local airports, when in their airspace. The helicopter will be flying at a speed of about 25-35 mph above or alongside the lines and may circle around for a closer inspection. 

The helicopter is Blue with White Letter and Tail Number N719CB.

Mountain Lake Beach Season 2020

Liberty Township Municipal Beach on Mountain Lake is unfortunately 

closed for the 2020 season.

Due to multiple circumstances the beach shall 

not be open for the 2020 Season.

It is the Liberty Township Committee's intent to take this time to organize beach area improvements for the 2021 season.

Mountain Lake Beach

Due to the lack of available staff, Mountain Lake Beach

                                    WILL NOT

be open the weekend of 18 and 19 July 2020.
