PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Chairman of the Township of Liberty Land Use Board, after consultation with the Board Attorney, has CANCELLED the regular meeting of the Land Use Board scheduled for Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 7:30 PM at the Liberty Township Municipal Building, 349 Mt. Lake Rd., Great Meadows, NJ.

Any and all matters on the agenda are carried to the next regular meeting.

The next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 7:30 PM to be held at the Liberty Township Municipal Building, 349 Mt. Lake Rd., Great Meadows, New Jersey.

Gypsy Moth Spraying

Please be advised that the NJ Department of Agriculture

has scheduled gypsy moth spraying for Liberty Township

on Wednesday, 18 May 2016, pending weather conditions.


If the spraying program is postponed the rescheduled

date shall posted on this blog.

Monday - 9 May 2016

Please be advised that the Mayor has closed the municipal
building for lack of electricity.

The municipal building shall return to the normal
public hours on Tuesday, 10 May 2016 at 8:30 am.

The following offices have rescheduled their Monday
office hours to Tuesday, 10 May to better serve the
Liberty Township residents.

LandUse Secretary shall be in the office Tuesday, 10
May between the hours of 8:30 and 10:30 am.

Tax Collector shall be in the office Tuesday, 10 May
between the hours of 12:30 and 3:00 pm

APRIL WORKSHOP

Please be advised that the Liberty Township Workshop,
regularly scheduled for Thursday, 28 April 2016,
has been CANCELED.

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Township
Committee shall be held on Thursday, 5 May 2016 at 7:00 pm
within the Municipal Building, 349 Mountain Lake Road,
Great Meadows, NJ

New ZONING HOURS

Please be advised that Eric Snyder, Municipal Zoning Official,
has retired after many years of dedicated service to the
Township of Liberty.

Ken Nelson is fulfilling the position of Municipal Zoning
Official.  Mr. Nelson may be reached at 908.637.4579,
extension 14 or zoning@libertytownship.org.

Public Office hours are published on the monthly municipal
calendar.  February 2016 dates and hours are;

9 February 2016, 3 to 6 pm
16 February 2016, 2 to 5 pm
23 February 2016, 2 to 5 pm

Christmas Tree Collection

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP CHRISTMAS TREE COLLECTION

All undecorated Christmas Trees may be dropped off at the
Liberty Township DPW yard now until 1 February 2016 
for recycling.
