SNOW STORM CLOSURE - WEDNESDAY, 16 DECEMBER

 Please be advised that the Municipal Offices shall be closed today at 1:30 pm.

The next regularly scheduled hours for the Zoning Officer are, Wednesday, 23 December from 3-6 pm

The next regularly scheduled hours for the Tax Collector are, Saturday, 19 December from 9 am to 1 pm

JCP&L pre-flight notification December 13 or 14


 Please be advised that the Haverfield Aviation will be assisting in the completion of various JCP&L maintenance items on December 13 or 14, weather permitting. The helicopter will either be seen transporting line workers and equipment to and from the work area(s) or will be seen hovering extensively while in the work area(s) as a line worker performs repair work via platform that’s attached to the helicopter.


The pilot will be in communication with any local airports, when in their airspace. The helicopter is a black MD500 helicopter with red tail number N4265J (photo attached).

This flu clinic is open to those of all ages (no children under 3). High-dose flu vaccine available for 65+. If you have Medicare or NJ Family Care, please bring your card.

All attendees must wear a mask and stay 6 feet apart from others.

Warren County COVID-19 Information as of 18 November 2020

 

-Total cases up to 2,084. Up 221 from last week.

-Average of 31.5 cases per day.

-Averaging 204 tests per day over the last week.

-Positivity rate is 12% as of November 14.

-12 hospitalizations this week.

-5 patients in ICU.

-1 active LTCF outbreak.

-Reporting 1 new COVID-19 related death for an LTCF resident. Onset was 4/24/20, date of death was 8/2/20.

-CFR is 7.6%. Sussex and Warren have the same CFR. NJ CFR is 5.2%.

 The numbers keep climbing, exceeding 2,000 for the first time. The biggest jumps in months were recorded this past week. Please encourage your residents to take the needed precautions – mask-wearing, limiting gatherings – so we can reduce the spread. Thanks.

Notice of Road Closure - Saturday Nov. 14th

Notice of Road Closure

Free Union Road, between Rader and Quenby Mountain Roads will be CLOSED on Saturday, November 14, approximately 7 am – 3 pm for pavement overlay.

 

Through traffic will be detoured onto Hillcrest, Spring Hill to Quenby Mountain Roads. There will be limited one-lane access to residents along the closed portion of the road.
