NJDEP stated that they would be retesting the lake and advise of the results.
As of 23 December 2019, this is the response that was received from NJDEP
regarding a second testing;
"Unfortunately due to the large amount of HAB events this
year, we are still working
to perform the final sampling on many of these water bodies.
Mountain Lake is
scheduled to be sampled within the first two weeks of
January."
