Mountain Lake Beach schedule

Saturday, 1 September 2018 is the last day that 

Mountain Lake Beach will be open for public swimming.

Tax Collection Hours

Please be advised that the Tax Collection Office will be closed
for public hours on Saturday, September 8^th and Saturday, September 15^th

Mountain Lake Beach Hours

 Mountain Lake beach will have only afternoon hours of 1-6pm for  

27-31 August and 3 September. 

3 September will be the final open day of the beach.  

Warren County Mosquito Control Commission Tonight!

The Warren County Mosquito Control Commission is planning to perform truck-mounted ultra-low volume spraying to control adult mosquito populations in your townships.  Trucks are clearly marked as Mosquito Control vehicles.

Trucks equipped with ultra-low volume sprayers will be conducting an adult mosquito application on

Monday night, August 13, 2018 (weather pending) between 7:45 pm and 11:30 pm in the following areas:

White Township:  Mountain Lake Road, Tamarack Road, Titman Road

Liberty Township: Tamarack Road, Circle Lane, Fern Lane, Lakeside Drive South, Lakeside Drive East, Walnut Dr, Knoll Dr, Cedar Dr., Pine Dr., Knoll Dr., Crescent Dr., Ash Lane,

Belvidere:  Wurtz Road, Market Street, Manunka Chunk Road

Oxford Township:  Cat Swamp off of Foundry Road, Pequest Road, Bike Path, Lower Denmark Road, Axford Ave.

Washington Township: Meadowbreeze Lane, Little Philadelphia Road, Kayharts 

Lane, Mine Hill Road, Bense Court, Bowerstown Road

As a precaution, in order to limit their exposure to pesticides, residents in those areas can close their windows and stay indoors during the application times.  Window fans should be turned off but air conditioners can stay turned on (not on fan mode).  The spray dissipates quickly, usually within 15 – 20 minutes. 

In the event of high winds, or rainfall, the application will be rescheduled.

Third Quarter Extension to Pay Taxes

The grace period for the third quarter payment of taxes will be 

extended to 28 August 2018.

Any payments received after 28 August 2018 will accrue interest back to 1 August 2018.
